What’s in the 1988 Chevrolet Pickup dealer information book

This scan covers the first-year GMT400 C/K Pickup and is really several GM documents bound together. It opens with the September 1987 C/K Pickup data book (model selector, standard specifications for each series, dimensions and weights, power teams, engine ratings, GVWR and tire charts, trim features and color charts), followed by the Engine & Cooling reference tab, the “Truck-Camper Loading 1988 C/K Models” consumer booklet, a small-block V8 service-manual section (6A4), and finally a February 1987 “Preliminary Information” edition of the pickup pages that includes the original 1988 price list for models and options.

Note: the February 1987 preliminary pages and the September 1987 pages don’t always agree. For example, the preliminary C1500 spec page lists a 4-speed manual as standard, while the September page lists a 5-speed with overdrive. The engine-ratings table in the preliminary edition (PDF p127) also appears to give lower 5.0L figures, so the ratings above are taken from the September 1987 table on p25. Blank PDF pages 2 and 68 aren’t listed.
